Hi Dr Doug,

I have 2 questions regarding breasfeeding.

The 1st one is: how much fat do I need to eat minimum? During pregnancy, I wanted to eat more fats and now, a couple of months after giving birth, my desire for fats has decreased greatly. I can eat them sparingly, which adds up to around 6-7% fat on average. Just wanted to check that is ok for my milk and my baby.

The 2nd question is on greens: would around 1-2% of greens per day cover my needs? I've heard that greens can make babies gassy and cause them have upset stomachs. I am experimenting and generally finding myself not wanting huge amounts anyway, or not being able to fit them in due to the extra calories consumed to cover my own + breast feeding needs.

Your advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you so much for your ongoing contribution to this board.
