If you urinate 10x/day, that comes to once every 2.4 hours or so. If you spend 8 hours in bed, the likelihood of needing to urinate at least once during the night is quite good, unless you are dehydrated when you go to sleep.
Every 90 minutes or so during sleep, you actually awaken and go back to sleep. If there is nothing to notice, you don't even notice that you woke up. If you need to adjust the blankets, roll over, or something of that sort, you do so, and may or may not remember having done so when you wake. If you notice you need to urinate, you do so, and do not need to interrupt the sleep cycle. You don't wake up to pee, in other words, you wake up and notice that you need to pee.
