The physiological benefits of exercise are the same, regardless of the exercise. There are five facets of fitness, and depending upon which is stressed, that is what will develop. Rebound exercise can be used to focus on any of the five, though it is primarily geared towards muscular endurance, cardio, and neurological abilities. Muscular strength can be challenged on a rebounder, as can flexibility, to a lesser degree.
