I'm curious what B12 deficiency symptoms you were experiencing before you were tested?
I prefer sublingual tablets, taken 2 or 3 times daily at first, if your levels are exceptionally low, that is, to the point of having multiple symptoms. Typically, shots are only necessary if you are deficient due to an inability to produce intrinsic factor, or if B12 levels are so low that it could be life threatening, and immediate dramatic results are required. Such a situation is quite uncommon.
