I have been transitioning to a HCLF vegan diet since the
beginning of the year, and have been trying to eat mostly raw
until dinner. I say transitioning because I have been trying
to reduce my fat intake by limiting nuts and seeds and
increasing fruit as much as I can tolerate (I am not at the
best level yet). Recently, I have noticed a few skin issues
like a flare up of Keratosis Pilaris which I haven't had in at
least a year. I'm wondering if it could be from the phase out
of nuts (I previously had at least one serving of nuts -
usually almonds - per day as well as a tsp of flax seed), or
from the increase in fruit sugar. Today I noticed some hive
like patches on my arms and legs as well. I would appreciate
any thoughts. Thanks in advance!
