So I got the kindle 80-10-10 book yesterday. I had actually bought the hard copy about 5 years ago but had lost it shortly after in a residential move. I'm glad I bought it again. I had actually forgotten how good this book is.

In the Protein chapter it says that even the high protein plants like legumes are highly acid forming in the body. Now, there is a legume called chinese long beans, which where I'm from is also called Bora. The beans are about 2 1/2' long. Google "chinese long beans" and click on images to see them. Every year I plant these Bora and eat a lot of them raw. I love the taste and have been eating then raw since childhood.

The question is, is this acidifying my body? I don't feel like it is, it being raw and all but I'm not sure. Thanks for the replies.
