What about dehydration? UFC fighters have been known to drop 40lbs
a few days before a weigh in.

What about glycogen retention, blood volume, bone density,
testosterone induced nitrogen retention/water weight etc?

Sounds like you are into fad diets and doing the rounds. You need to
learn how to train properly and understand human body composition
and how it relates towards achieving your personal goals.

If your testosterone levels go up, you are definitely going to be
holding more water in your muscles and this will make you weigh
more. Same if you get fitter. You can be losing fat but gaining weight
on the scales but you won't know cos your mindset is all about
absolute numbers on the scale + calories are calories etc.

My book is near completion. In it we discuss why certain programs
work and why many don't. I know you will get a lot from it. You won't
ever have to eat cucumbers for dinner either. ;)
