Dear Harley,
I appreciate your concerns, but as far as I am aware
the blood clot was not because of Orange juice.

I have done many Orange juice mono-diets over the
past 19 years and never had any issues with blood
clots, excepting this one occasion.

The blood clot occurred, I believe, due to an
internal bacterial infection from Tropical Ulcers.
This is a known reaction of the Staphylococcus
aureus bacteria's ability to produce coagulase, an
enzyme that can clot blood.

The Orange juice could or could not have been a
factor in the blood clot.

When a blood clot is diagnosed, there is immediate
admission to hospital in case the clot travels to
the heart or lungs.

Regarding the cooked food, this was not a conscious
choice or wish on my part.
I was not permitted to eat just fruit in the
hospital, and the alternative if I did not agree to
eat cooked vegan food was to be tube fed (which
probably would not have been vegan).

I am happy for anyone to contact me if they want to
know more about this.

Thank you.
Love and Peaches,
from Anne XX.
