Hello!
I have recently switched over to a vegan diet after being a vegetarian for
only four months. I also have been traveling all over the place since the end
of November. I have moderate scalp psoriasis that is localized in one area.
When I'm at home I have strong medicated spray and shampoo I use.
Being from a very dry city in Canada and starting my travels in SE Asia I
thought I would be fine without my medications because it would be a lot
less dry and I would practically have zero stress & it turns out my breakouts
completely went away. I am currently in Perth Australia and fruit is
extremely expensive here compared to Canada & because with constantly
moving around it's cheaper and easier to have oatmeal, rice or rice/corn
pasta. I have been following the 80/10/10 (unfortunately with cooked foods)
for only two weeks with a big fruit breakfast, fruit & oatmeal for lunch &
usually pasta or rice for dinner with spinach & vegetables and 2L of water
daily. Since starting I haven't had any oil, table salt, condiments, nuts or
avocado and according to Cronometer I have been keeping my fats under
10%. My Scalp Psoriasis has come back as well as really dry patches all
over my body is this because my body is not used to low fats, is it to early
to even tell or is there something else I can be doing? I'd ideally like to go
100% raw, just with travel at the moment this seems to be the most
affordable way. Any suggestions would be beneficial as I'd ideally like to not
go back on my medications as they are filled with chemicals that burn my
scalp.

Thank you very much for your time!
Pritannia
