Once again, experience has shown me that people on dialysis tend to do very well on 811. But such people must be considered "high risk" and dealt with on an individual basis. Does this woman have zero urinary output, or if any, how much per 24 hours? What is the nature and degree of her kidney failure?
I had a client some years back, a medical doctor, whose urinary output was exceptionally low. He was on dialysis twice per week. Even on a program of "nothing but bananas" he did very well and had no issues with potassium overload, though his doctors freaked and predicted his demise. Instead, his urinary output increased weekly, until he eventually got completely off of dialysis.
