Subject:         building muscle

i've recently started doing calisthenics to try and build muscle as I am "skinny
fat". i see a lot of recommendations for protein to be around .5 or .75g times
body weight to build muscle and I'm wondering if that's a good range to shoot
for or if it's exaggerated? I'm eating around 40-60g a day (110 pounds), is this
sufficient for building muscle? Thank you
