Thanks both for your concern, I might well say the
same if I saw my post.

I had a blood test 4 years ago, mainly to check vit
D levels, which I had never considered prior to 811.
(I did not know at the time that the general blood
tests in UK are not accurate for this vitamin). The
GP was horrified to find out I was vegan, which
amused, and appalled me somewhat. My tests were
just fine, and I did not pursue further testing.

I'm not at all concerned about "sugar" diabetes, but
the far less dangerous d.mel. From reading (only
Wiki), accurate tests have to be done under
conditions of almost total fluid deprivation during
which one is kept hospitalised for 2-4 weeks! And
then there is no effective treatment. So, keep on
drinking is my decision. That may sound negligent,
but the thirst issue has slowly slowly increased
over 30-40 years, I would be far more worried if it
were a sudden or recent development.

It's just a little odd that all these fruits and
veggies in a high-water, low-salt diet, have made no
difference - as yet. But I have a few other minor
symptoms which have not responded at all, either.
Perhaps a fast one day will shift the balance.

Overall, I feel so so much better since 811rv and
learning from Dr D's experience and insights. as he
observes on The Perfect Health Program (re fasting):
you cannot go on a fast and expect your acne to
clear up, when you have a dozen or more potentially
dangerous conditions lurking that you don't even
know about yet. The body has its own agenda, and
that is to deal with the most threatening things
first; acne may not be no.1. So, surely the same
with the milder and slower detox of 811rv. I trust
my body, more so now than eveer.
