Hi Everyone my name is Liz and I have been following 80 10 10
for 3 years. I had a really good level of health before I
started but I read the book and felt I could do even better

Unfortunately my health has been declining over these past 3
years and I can't work out why. I'm getting plenty of
exercise, sun and I sleep 10 hours a night. I track my
calories every day.

I went to see holistic doctor regarding my increasing
lethargy and muscle pains. He ran many tests and found I had
an iron and omega 3 deficiency and found I was low in
magnesium, zinc and a few other vitamins.

He asked me what my diet was like. I told him I was on 80 10
10 and shared with him what that meant. He wasn't totally
against my low fat vegan diet but he did say there is a huge
genetic variation in people today in which not everyone can
get the nutrients they need from plants as well as others
can. So he says he sees some people do well on vegan diets
whilst others get very sick, like me.

He advised lots of lean grass fed meats alongside my fruits
and vegetables?????

Can this be right? Even though I've appeared to do badly on
80 10 10 I still believe in my heart this is the way I should
be eating but I can't figure out what has gone wrong.

Thank you ever so much for reading this and for any help you
might be able to give.

With love
