Dr. Graham,

I have recently found a great wholesaler who has a lot of varieties of fruit I have never even tried. They have a variety of orange called a mango valencia. Online I have found the description to be a sub acid fruit instead of an acid fruit. Is this true? I am excited for the possibility of using these oranges in smoothies with sweet fruit. I love the taste of mixing oranges with bananas but since it's a bad combination I don't do it any more. Hopefully that has changed. Please let me know if they are truly sub acid or if it's still not a good combination for other reasons such as water content. Thanks.
