Hello Heidi,

I drink filtered water whenever I feel like it. I'm breastfeeding at the
moment and it's summer here, so I drink more water than usual.
Probably about 1.5 litres a day. But I would consume more than that
through the water in my food. The diet industry idea of drinking
water when you're think you're hungry is more useful for people who
eat cooked, processed and dehydrated foods. You would consume
water and become hydrated through your water rich fruit and veg.

I think it would be hard for older people to gain a lot of weight on
811rv because they would need to eat such large quantities. Having
said that, if they consume more calories than they need, it's quite
possible.

If your clothes fit about the same, don't worry about the number on
the scales. Perhaps if you just weigh yourself once a week at the
same time.

Best wishes,
Bronwyn
