Subject:         Ginger with boiling-hot water

Hello Doug,

My father keeps on infusing fresh ginger with boiling-hot
water because he has read somewhere that such water helps to
exteriorise all ginger's properties. I'm pretty sure he's
wrong, but could you possibly express your opinion on the
subject and give me some evidence against (or for if there's
any)? Thank you in advance.
