hi. i have a question.
nowadays i often read about insulin resistance. and how high carbohydrate diets
lead to insulin resistance. and how that causes fat gain and obesity as well as
many health problems. also, i have read that weight gain is not the result of
excess calorie intake. but rather from hormone imbalances caused by insulin
resistance, caused by consuming high glycemic foods such as fruit.
i am not convinced of this being true. however, i really don't know.
i have never seen any obese 80-10-10ers. thus, i quiestion this idea.
i myself am a little overweight. i a diet relatively high in carbohydrates. and
sometimes i wonder if my excess body fat is due to a high glycemic diet, since so
many "experts" say it is the case.
what is all y'allz opinion?
