I mostly halve my dates and throw them into my salad.
I use organic Deglet Nour, which are widely available,
smaller and lower in calories than most dates, so I
typically eat 1000-1200 cals worth of dates for my
main meal.

Sometimes I enjoy blending them with a little juice
(not citrus of course), to make a gooey sweet salad

If i am out for several hours teaching/ working out at
the gym, I will make dateorade to take, or make a
lunch pack of lettuce and dates if I have time to eat.
