Subject:         Heal my PTSD

Hello,

I would particularly like to hear from others (and anyone else) who have personally had PTSD/experience with helping others overcome it and have overcome it fully/completely.

I am also interested in specifically what was used to help overcome it (as much detail as possible please e.g. specific foods and combinations rather than just “fruit and veg” or specific exercise duration and type rather than simply “movement” or specific stress management tools rather than just “manage it”).

I am interested in fully recovering and healing completely as opposed to “managing PTSD” which is what many of the approaches in the U.K. seem to deal with.

Who’s the best in the world for dealing with this trauma/PTSD? Surely there must be someone on the planet who “gets it” and knows how to take me to peaceful recovery?

I’ve recovered roughly 70-90% of the way, I’m looking to go all the way. I can work a fulltime job as a professional, I can commute 2.5 hours every day to work and back, I can do things which most people would not be able to do as consistently and miraculously as I do, my health is probably the best ever if not close to it, but I am unsatisfied with my results and health and looking for the quickest way to get to satisfaction.

I have seen 3-6 professionals, doing EFT (emotional freedom techniques), TRE (trauma releasing exercises), positive affirmations, read dozens of books, 811RV (now I don’t eat this way), meditation, yoga, sunning, and much more.

I have made hundreds of changes in the past 4/5 years. Fasted for 30 days Jan/Feb 2011, which ended traumatically as the retreat was poorly managed and the host didn’t have the necessary experience or knowledge to carry me through to my desired results. I would very unlikely fast again for many reasons.

Stress seems to be the biggest factor in my personal case and some of the biggest stressors from me are my family/living situation, my job (though I feel I could manage this if it were not for the family/living situation), feeling unsafe and attachment to the past, to name a few.

Greatly looking forward to hearing from everyone.

Prab
