Subject:         Variety of fruits in my diet

Hello Dr. Graham,

I know that you have taught that is important to eat a variety
of fruits and vegetables over the course of each year.

But I am wondering if I am even eating enough variety for the
given season. I am starting to feel a bit bored with the
fruits I am currently eating, but I do not have access or
financial ability to bring in much more. I wanted to run by
you the fruits that I eat right now, and ask for your opinion
on whether this might be too limited of a variety.

This Fall season, I frequently eat:
persimmons, apples, oranges, tangerines, bananas, and grapes
(though grapes are now going out of season)

and I occasionally eat:
mangoes, pears, berries, avocado, pomegranate, dates, and
pineapple (but pineapple really hurts my mouth, so I try to
avoid it most of the time)

The variety of lettuce, celery, & vegetables that I eat seems
very adequate and satisfying to me, so I won't mention them.
My fruit variety is my main concern.
