Dear David,

thanks for your very open post. It seems to me as though you're very
aware of what could be improved in your life with a little reflection.

I understand that it's hard to implement change when you're feeling
so unwell, but unfortunately it could be the only natural way to feel
better. Natural methods take effort, discipline and consistency.
Perhaps if you find a support group in your area or on-line of people
who manage depression with natural methods, it could help with
motivation.

It could be overwhelming to make a lot of change at once, so it may
be helpful to make a plan about implementing small changes in each
area every week.

I recommend reading Marshall Rosenberg's "Non-Violent
Communication." You might look at Byron Katie's work. I don't know
if there are Buddhist or meditation centres in your area or if you have
a religious background, but going to a quiet or sacred place and
meditating or praying can be very helpful.

Full blood tests, including thyroid tests will be informative.

Warm regards,
Bronwyn
