Hi Blissfully Raw,

I have not been able to pin-point the root cause of
the depression. There were no majorly negative
events around the time of its beginning -- so I've
always felt it was more physiological.

One of my Doctor's felt that my depression may have
started 9 years ago when I was 13. Back then I was
bullied a lot in school and was alone most of the
time.

But then it seemed to have cleared for a number
years, only to return 3 years ago. This was when I
was officially diagnosed and went for help. There
seemed to be nothing going on at the time to attach
the depression to.

What were some of the events in the year(s) leading
up to this?

1. Becoming more independent - completing high-
school and getting a job. (bit early)
2. Break up with a girlfriend.
3. Start studying at University.
4. Never really feel comfortable/supported at home?

I wish I knew what the definite cause was, or the
definite solution, because I'd do anything to get
over this.
