Dear Dr Graham,

I'm currently 10 days "overdue" and I have refused and continue to refuse to any
drugs, painkillers or interventions during the pregnancy and for labour. My
obstetrician is pro natural birth and has had patients go over three weeks
"overdue" before, which would be my wish unless the baby was in distress.
Unfortunately, it's hard to find much literature on so-called "overdue" births
because most women who give birth in hospitals are induced by 41 or 42
weeks. The only information I can get is from home births, but that is scarce. I
remember you have attended home births and I was wondering if you've seen
many women go to over 42 weeks and what the outcomes were.

With much gratitude,
Bronwyn
