Subject:         hydration confusion

Hi Doug

I am drinking so much water at the moment, its kind of scary to me, like this
morning I have drunk at least 5L of water(have not eaten yet) and still feel it possible to drink too much water? I have recently moved to the
tropics(5 months) and know I need to drink more but it seems extreme to me.

Is there something I am doing wrong here? FYI i am eating 100% 80/10/10, yes i
am measuring it using chronometer, no dehydrated foods(no dates, dried
tomatoes, salt of any kind). I usually add water to my bananas too.

From what I know monitoring hydration comes down to peeing clear, 8-12 times
a day and peeing a decent amount(not scanty). So at the moment I know I am
dehydrated because I am not peeing high volume despite having consumed so
much water.

Is there some other way I can better monitor this and maintain consistent
hydration? I seem to be getting dehydrated very easily despite drinking more
water than anyone I know and also eating water rich foods...
