1. I don't care how you measure it, or how you explain it, or what metrics you prefer to use. I used the method I did so as to explain why GI is sometimes misleading, and why GL is useful.
Some folks will get that fruit is good food, others won't.
2. My explanation didn't mean the two were the same in terms of high and low. I meant they are the same in terms of using different units for comparison. You can't effectively compare two items while using different units.

3. Typically, using more than one method of comparison gives a broader and clearer view of the big picture. At day's end, fruit is good food.
