Doug,
A couple of months ago, I posted here asking if you thought
it would help to omit overts from my diet to allow my body
to heal the endometriosis. At the time, I had only been a
month or two in to 811 and was craving avocado, but if it
meant I could be in less and less pain, etc, I would commit
to not eating them along with having no nuts, seeds, or
durian either.

You said, "You are so early in your 811 journey. No overts
will help you, sure, but if it drives you crazy, well,
you've got to consider all angles, eh?
Likely, if you just make peace with no overts, say for a
week or two, your entire perspective on them will change
dramatically."

So, I went with no overts for a couple of months and the
periods did get easier, tolerable, albeit still painful.
But, knowing these things could take time, am still not
having overts.

Well, I have been reading and reading the archive of
previous posts and responses from you in an effort to do my
part to learn as much as I can without asking questions you
probably get asked frequently. I came across the following
post and, to be honest, it concerned me. It was a response
to a post where a member said how unhealthy and even
dangerous it was to completely omit overts from her diet.
This is what you said:

((In Reply to: overts posted by heidi jane on February 23,

"As you may be aware, I have never been a promoter of the
"no overts" school of thought. While I often do not eat
overts, and do not believe I "have" to eat them on any given
day, I am not in any way opposed to eating them."

Could you please explain this statement then? I had written
to you here after reading about and watching youtube
testimonials about women who healed their endometriosis on
811 only after omitting the overts and in one case, doing a
fast with you as well.

I want to make sure that I am doing the best for myself to
heal the fastest (with what resources I have to do that with
at the time.) (Fasting at a retreat at this point in time is
not feasible and I won't do it unsupervised.)

Thank you for all you do, Doug. Hugs, Lisa
