1. CTT varies depending upon the food(s) eaten, and a number of other factors such as how tired you are, how active, etc. Assuming all else to be equal, 12-24 hours is the typical range, though some foods will pass more quickly than that, and some more slowly, give or take about 6 more hours.
2. Eating fewer calories than are used invariably results in body fat losses. That's the best strategy. My recommendation is to eat a bit more vegetables than usual, while still eating all the fruit you care for.
3. There is no exact number for which we strive. The acceptable range is quite large, especially depending upon when blood pressure is checked.
In general, all vital signs are lower in healthy people than in the general population.
