I was having a major problem with binge eating after dinner. I would stick to 80/10/10 regimen all day. However, after dinner at about 7pm, I would raid the cabinets looking for vegan snacks; thereby, sabotaging all my progress. I picked up weight and became very frustrated and discouraged.

However, I was determined to find an answer. So, I decided to try the Fast-5 approach; where, you eat during any 5 hour window and fast 19 hours. My feasting window is 1pm - 6pm and I follow 80/10/10 100% during my eating period. I'm eating the same amount of calories 1800-2000 a day and the binge eating has subsided. I don't know why, but so far so good. I've lost 6 lbs in 8 days.

My breakfast is at 1pm, where I eat a mono-meal with water rich fruit; eg. grapes, oranges, pineapples. Lunch is at 3pm - large salad and 6pm is dinner, where I finish off with a large banana smoothie that contains enough calories to meet my daily caloric target. I'm also able to get in my 3 liters of water daily during the fasting period.

My question is do you believe this is harmful in anyway? I'm combining the 811 diet with the Fast-5 feeding schedule.
