Don't underestimate the power of stress and lack of
sleep. My husband who doesn't bike nearly as much as
you do was losing his erection for a bit and having
much less physical desire in sex.

Also, just to throw out as an option, when one is
stressed, or combined with sitting in a certain
position, muscles tense and can kink or pull on the
spine a little, cutting off full nerve function. I
am not a doctor, so I am not speaking medically, but
rather from experience since I have had spine issues
and have experienced what I have just said. Getting
massaged or looked at by a chiropractor might prove
beneficial as well.

Lastly, having had issues with my back before, I got
a bike perfect for that. I know you don't have that,
however maybe a different seat will serve wonders, or
maybe lowering it.

Just my three cents during the intermission while you
wait for Doug's response. :)
