If one eats a heavy meal containing fats and cooked foods, I
understand if fruit is eaten after it can ferment in the
stomach because it is meant to digest quickly. As far as
elimination goes, does the first food eaten get eliminated
first and all other foods eaten after need to wait for that to
be processed? ...or do certain foods such as fruit get
eliminated before heavier foods even if they are eaten after?
I am wondering how long it can take to digest and eliminate
certain foods and if that may not even happen at all. I have
heard of mucoid plaque, or old undigested food that lines the
walls of the intestines and hasn't been eliminated. I wanted
to know if this is true. I've been having some trouble
transitioning due to emotional eating and bad habits, and I
sometimes don't know how long to wait after eating a cooked
meal before eating fruit.
