Hi Heidi :),

I've no idea, it's a 50+(post-menopausal) phenomenon
for me, I just can't take overts any more. Which
coincides with the time I read Dr G's book and went
811. So I can't tell what is due to the massive
increase in raw, and what is part of a catalogue of
symptoms women get around this age - nor am I at all
concerned. I just assume my body does not require
overts currently.

I can only guess at how the association with dogs and
large volumes of excretion arose! Dogs are known to
be voracious in appetite, they take food in what seems
a greedy manner to humans, so perhaps is more likely
to eat unsuitable things. This contrasts to cats who
appear more delicate in habit. A dog will vomit/poop
anywhere, a cat will seek grass or earth. We choose
to make analogies from these two animals as we are
most familiar with them.

I do not even know who Cohen is, just saying how I
would have understood that phrase.
