Hi Angie,
you need more calories as a nursing mum than what is recommended
for your height and weight as a non-nursing female. Structured
exercise aside, it sounds like you're active for at least a couple of
hours a day. You may need 2500 - 3000 calories a day. As Dr
Graham said, you can check this by how you maintain your weight. I
would find a source of fresh dates and buy them by the case. It will
be easy to increase your calories with a few extra date smoothies per
day. Put in as many dates and bananas as you can in your smoothies
and keep them on hand so you can get in the volume. You'll feel
amazing soon!
