thanks for your reply. i am def eating loads of fruit. and greens - ive been doing a salad w a lb of lettuce for either dinner or lunch and fruit the rest of the time. ive also done some lettuce/fruit soups (following the recipes in the 811 book). banana smoothies, melon, etc. i just feel like my supply has dropped - not letting down as often as before. i know the majority of calories in breastmilk come from fat, so i just am wondering if the 80/10/10 ratio applies in nursing women, or if it should be more like 75/10/15. im not thinking of a superhigh fat diet, just maybe a little more than 10%. maybe my supply issue is due more to a drop in calories? not sure.
