Hi Jim,

I too have full dentures - but they are the implant-
supported sort. Prior to these, I was for 12-15 years
unable to eat salads, as my teeth were extracted one
after another. So i stuck to steamed veg.

So I have 6 permanent posts on implants, which
protrude from my gums, so I look like an alien from a
movie with them out! The dentures have a female
equivalent which clips on. Unlike standard dentures,
they are totally secure and I can eat anything (except
figs). another benefit is you do not need the palate
part of a denture.

They are quite an investment, but so worth it to be
able to eat raw fruits and veg, whole.
