The white part of the watermelon is actually the most
nutrient dense part of the watermelon, having vitamin-
C, B-6, and citrulline. It's not calorie dense either.
A 1-inch cube has a little under 2 calories.
It doesn't taste much like anything so I used to not
eat it before I learned how healthy it is. You can
prepare it in certain ways so it tastes better, like
pickling it or even grilling/sauteeing it in a stir
fry.
