Hi Jemma,

I was just sharing my experience with being pregnant
with my two children.

I wasn't raw during either of my pregnancies. I
wanted to be but my hormones led me to eating
primarily cooked vegan foods.

When pregnant with my son I gained 60lbs and I
gained 40lbs while pregnant with my daughter. So as
you can see I wasn't starving myself!

Once my daughter was born I went back to eating a
raw diet. Her rapid growth happened during a time
when I was eating raw. She even DOUBLED her birth
weight in less than two months (breastfed babies
typically double their birth weight in 4-6 months).

You can watch videos of her on youtube.

Human breast milk is 1% protein by weight (cow's
milk is 3.2%, btw).

Rainbow was born in a hospital and no one there
expressed any concerns about her birth weight or
overall health. For instance, her iron level was in
the normal range and all the other tests ran on her
came back fine.

MY mother ate the SAD diet and still gave birth to a
small baby (me). I only weighed a few more ounces
at birth than my daughter did!

As for pregnancy diets it seems like pregnancy
hormones influence what the mother to be ends up
eating more than any other influence, including what
the mother to be EXPECTED to eat during her
pregnancy.

I don't know if you have any children but to me it's
obvious that birthing a smaller baby would be easier
than birthing a larger one!

Get baby big OUT of the womb!
