Subject:         Question for Dr Graham on energy & food intake

Dear Dr Graham,

I have been following the 801010 diet since Feb 2013, so for 7 months nearly. I
love eating/living this way and immediately noticed great changes to my clarity,
digestion and energy.

However more recently (last month say) I have noticed a significant drop in my
energy and increase in my tiredness levels. I am basically wondering whether I
may need to increase my calorie intake???

At the moment I eat roughly between 1850-2100 calories a day (I do track) and I
am a 29 year old female, 5 foot 4 inches, weight 51kg approx. My weight has
been steady for about 5 months (dropped a couple of kilos in the first 2
months). During the day I have a desk job, but 6 days a week I either run (steady
pace) or swim (front crawl steady/intervals) for 60 minutes, plus 30-60 mins
strength training 6 days a week too. 1 REST day for me a week.

I sleep between 8-9 hours each night and drink plenty of water.

I'm not sure if this is enough info to go on? BUt I am just thinking do i need to
increase my food intake to have all the energy that everyone else seems to have
on this diet? My biggest fear though is that I will just put on weight if i eat
excess calories.

I would love to know what you think...will more calories help???
