Greetings Doug!
Thanks for taking the time for this forum!

For the record, I'm 100% 811rv for 2 years, doing good. Now living in the tropics! I exercise almost daily and sweat moderately to heavy depending on activity of course.

I try to follow my instinctive need for water and drink as needed,and find that I typically drink 1-1.5 l of water in the morning, 1-1.5 l again before lunch and the same again before dinner. I like to drink before I eat so that it goes quicker through and dont interfere so much with digestion. I also drink a couple of coconuts and maybe another 1 l of water spread out through the day.This means I drink something like 4-5 l in a day on average. Then I eat mangoes, bananas, longans and other fruits and greens. So I guess I average around 7-8 l total.

Here's the thing, I feel hydrated and well throughout the day, but during the night I feel slightly dehydrated and especially experience a dry mouth. I urinate so much during the night that it's borderline exhausting (4-6 times during the 10 hours in bed. During the day I urinate maybe between 7-9 times.

My dilemma is this: Should I drink during the night as well? How long does it really take to get dehydrated, if I stay really hydrated during the day, is there no risk of dehydration during the night, even if not drinking?
