Subject:         When you fall off - how do you get back on?

Is anyone else just tired of all the on again off again cycles? The extremes of eating all good, followed by all junk? I've been all my life back and forth between the extremes. I find it's not just a food cycle - it's in everything -motivation, exercise, work drive, sex drive, ambition, connectedness with others.

I have known people who are always moderate - moderate as a personality trait it seems. Is there a genetic component to this wild swinging personality? Sometimes I wonder is it perhaps ALL caused by an underlying psychological self worth issue? Or a hormonal imbalance/depression issue?

Anyway, as you may guess, I am on the downswing and can't bring myself to go back up at the moment whatever the cause. Anyone have advice on how to get back from the dark side?
