Subject:         Denatured food - Dr Graham

Hi Dr Graham,

I was wondering about the degree of damage to foods with:
- blending
- freezing
- cooking

Do all of these methods cause denaturising and oxidation of food?

I'm eating 80/10/10 with blended banana smoothies and some frozen durian, and would like to know if those foods are being damaged by these storage and preparation methods?

Also, is it true that the body always has an immune reaction to denatured foods (cytoleukosis)? What if someone were to just have lightly steamed broccoli, would that still cause a reaction?

Many thanks, DJ
