Thanks for your reply. There is a lot of contradicting advice out there
on the internet as well as from different doctors (I have seen a few).
Some say to stay away from cruciferous vegetables and some say it's
good for an over-active thyroid. One doctor has told me to stay away
from raw vegetables (like broccoli and cauliflower) and to always
blanch or cook them in order to digest properly. Unfortunately,
doctors don't really seem to know much about Graves and jump to
radioactive iodine or surgery (which I refused to do, and opted to
take the medication on a small dose). Thankfully I didn't have to take
the meds too long this time.

I am going to give 811 a try and see what happens.
