The question was grapes. Some people find that grape sugars get into their system really quickly. Not all people. The same with other foods. So, the issue is, which foods for you? Yes, everything turns to sugar, and excess calories turn to fat, but if you choose chicken, for example, you mess with your sugar metabolism simply because of the dietary fat.
