When I was pregnant with Andrew AND while nursing him I enjoyed citrus no problem.

While pregnant with Rainbow I had issues with citrus and had to avoid it. In my first trimester, I was at a local farmers market in Hawaii and I decided to get a nice large glass of fresh squeezed oj. I drank it and a little while later I started feeling nauseous and lightheaded. Next thing I know I fainted!

I avoided my much loved fresh oj for the rest of my pregnancy.

Once Rainbow was born I was able to have citrus again (including large glasses of fresh squeezed oj).

No negative reactions from breastfeeding either baby with citrus.

I have heard of other moms having problems with citrus while breastfeeding. I'm just hoping you're not one of them because I know how much you love oranges and fresh squeezed oj! :)
