If you are showing any B12 deficiency symptoms, by all means, take some supplements. If not, you are safe to watch and wait, and retest in 3-6 months. If the levels continue to drop, the same guidelines apply. If they have bottomed out and begun to rise on their own, then I would wait longer to retest, or wait until deficiency symptoms appear. They may never appear.
Tingling of toes and fingers is usually one of the first symptoms.
