He throws out a lot of unsupported claims, like his assertion that pure
vegans/vegetarians will run into serious health issues in only 2-6
years due to a B12 deficiency.

I guess I'm about 15 years overdue for that one, considering I've been
a vegan for 19 years and have never once supplemented with B12. I
also gave up fortified grain products years and years ago, so have not
consumed B12 in that form. The vast majority of people experiencing
B12 deficiency are meat eaters, so the argument makes no sense

He criticizes Doug for his claims, yet tries to refute them by throwing
out counter claims of his own as though his stating something made it
a fact. Complaining about the assertion that spices are excitotoxins,
his argument is basically "No they're not, they're good for you."

Complaining about the assertion that vinegar is nothing but acetic
acid and therefore an unhealthful product, he says "No, it's healthy"
apparently based on the supposed fact that acetic acid is somehow
produced in small amounts by the body. By this logic, drinking vats of
hydrochloric acid would be healthful, since the body produces
hydrochloric acid.

It's this type of horribly flawed reasoning that renders his arguments
completely impotent and unworthy of serious refutation. There are so
many basic premises being ignored that the chasm between science
and his arguments is too wide to bridge.
