Hi Doug!

I'm confused about "acidosis". I understand it as having a pH less than neutral,
therefore acid, in the body. But where in the body exactly?

I guess the blood would maintain it's alkalinity at all costs or else you will die,
and I know it will take calcium from other places in the body to buffer the acid
etc, hence resulting in keeping the blood at correct pH.

But where does the acidosis then "take place"? Is it in the lymph / extracellular
fluids? inside the cells? And does it simply mean there is more acid minerals in
the body than alkaline?

Thanks, as always!

Michael
