Subject:         Follow up on juicing

Following my post on juicing veg earlier in the week, I applied the recommendation of a couple of members and tried blending instead of juicing. So armed with broccoli, spinach, carrots, ginger, courgettes(Zucchini),celery and cucumber (my usual veg juice) I blended them. First it took ages even in the Vitamix for them to blend and the final result was a thick pulp that I could not drink. I tried making it again with added water but it was still a messy pulp that I could not drink.
I don't want to miss out on all the nutrients in my daily juice after all isn't it the liquid contained within the fibre of plants that nourishes us? I appreciate the importance of fibre and hope that if I eat raw fruit and veg the rest of the day I will get sufficient fibre? I also believe there is soluble fibre in juices? Finally because I am only juicing veg as opposed to fruit I am hoping that I wont get a fructose (sugar) spike?
Any further comments most welcome!
