Subject:         Heavy salad -- Dr Graham

Dear Dr Graham,

I'm currently eating 2 fruit mono-meals per day, and then a large salad in the evening.

However, the salad includes 1-2 heads of lettuce covered in lots of olive oil (and often salt).

Would the olive oil affect my blood sugar levels the next day when I eat fruit (I have around 14-16 hours of 'fasting' overnight before I eat the next day)?

Also, is it so bad to include some himalayan salt? What negative health impacts can this have? I really like the taste of the salt at the moment and feel pretty good.
