Subject:         Dr. D - 4500kcal daily intake, exactly 10% protein
Date: July 2, 2013 at 6:48 am PST

Someone who would like to try this lifestyle asked me a
question to which I don't know the answer.

He is very active and a kettlebell workouts instructor. At the moment, he
is trying out a 811 raw vegan challenge and is trying to up his calorie intake.

His request to me goes something like this:
"I would like to ask you to compose a 6-meal daily plan (i currently eat 6 meals
per day) that would provide me with enough calories for my needs, which is
around 4500kcal.
I have no fruit/veg preference or prejudice - i eat everything, i dont mind a large
quantity of food either. However it is NECESSARY that i get 10% protein (from
natural sources)."

I tried making up several different daily menus, but i couldnt get over 6,5% of
total caloric intake from protein, without exceeding the recommended 10% fat
ratio or going over 5000kcal.
I dont dare trying to explain ti him, that he probably doesnt even need exactly
10% protein/day ...

What do you suggest?

Thank you for your answer,
