Hi Doug,

I just got my b12 checked again for about the third time in 3 years and is was 130. When I first got tested it was around 149. I had been taking patches (methyl type) but now my GP has said they can give me b12 injections for 3 months on the NHS (UK).

Is it worth asking what is in the shots? I've tried researching it on the internet and it seems the NHS use a cyano form.

If this is the case, should I ask for a methyl form (not sure if they will even allow that) or is a 3 month course of b12 cyano injections not a big deal?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Great to read on the other post that your daughter is doing so well-you must be v.proud :)

Darcy
